Vanna White has left fans delighted after revealing that she has quietly married her longtime partner, John Donaldson, in a private surprise ceremony.

The beloved Wheel of Fortune personality, 68, shared the happy news on Instagram, giving followers a rare glimpse into her usually private romance.

In one touching photo, John was seen carrying Vanna in his arms as the newlyweds smiled warmly after exchanging vows.

Vanna looked stunning in a white beaded wedding gown, silver heels, and her blonde hair worn sleek and straight. She also showed off her sparkling diamond wedding ring.

John looked smart in black trousers, a white shirt, and a suit jacket, with his salt-and-pepper hair neatly styled and black-rimmed glasses completing the look.

Alongside the wedding image, Vanna shared sweet photos from their years together, including romantic holiday snaps and a relaxed poolside moment where the couple held hands.

“Surprise! We got married!” Vanna wrote in her caption.

 

“John and I have been in love for more than a decade and a little while back, we wanted to make it official in a private ceremony.

Fans quickly flooded the comments with congratulations, while Maggie Sajak, daughter of former Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak, reacted with emotional emojis.

Vanna’s current co-host Ryan Seacrest also celebrated the news on Instagram Stories, reposting her announcement and writing: “Congratulations.”

Ryan joined Wheel of Fortune after Pat Sajak stepped away from the show following his long-running hosting role. Vanna, meanwhile, has remained one of the programme’s most recognisable faces after more than four decades on screen.

In 2023, she negotiated a two-year contract after years of appearing alongside Pat as the show’s iconic letter-turner.

Speculation continues over who may eventually replace Vanna when she decides to step down, with many viewers believing Maggie Sajak could be a possible successor.

Vanna currently co-hosts Wheel of Fortune with Ryan Seacrest, while the pair also front Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, featuring famous contestants playing for charity.

During a recent interview on Elvis Duran and The Morning Show, Vanna revealed that the show films around 34 days a year — though she joked that those days are intense because they film six episodes in one day.

Vanna first became the official co-host of Wheel of Fortune in December 1982, just one year after Pat Sajak began hosting the famous game show.
