Life threw Isabella an unimaginable challenge just as she was beginning her college journey. In late 2023, during her first year at the University of Southern California (USC), she began experiencing severe headaches and vomiting blood. After urgent medical evaluation, doctors discovered a malignant tumor in her cerebellum — a medulloblastoma roughly the size of a kiwi. At just 18, Isabella faced an emergency brain surgery right before her 19th birthday.

 Fighting Against the Odds
What followed was a grueling battle that would test her strength, courage, and resilience. Over the next several months, Isabella underwent three major brain surgeries, endured thirty sessions of radiotherapy, and completed multiple rounds of intense chemotherapy. Each treatment brought its own physical and emotional challenges, yet she faced them with determination and hope.

 Victory Over Cancer
Her perseverance paid off. In August 2024, Isabella shared the joyous news that she was officially cancer-free. It was a moment of triumph, marking the end of a chapter filled with fear, pain, and uncertainty, and the beginning of a new life brimming with possibilities.

 A Renewed Spirit
Most recently, at the end of January 2026, Isabella went for her routine MRI scan — one that she admitted was the most psychologically challenging yet, given the fear of potential recurrence. The results brought tears of relief and gratitude: her brain was completely normal, with no signs of new tumors.
