Years after the death of her husband Mike Smith in 2014, Sarah, 68, revealed she has found romance with Robb Gravett, one of Mike’s oldest friends and a former British Touring Car champion.

The connection between Sarah and Robb runs deeper than romance. Both share a passion for racing and a profound respect for Mike, who had been a central figure in both their lives. Speaking on the My Time Capsule podcast, Sarah recalled how Robb began leaving patient messages on her answering machine. “At first I thought he was just being kind,” she said.
