Tonight, seven celebrities, seven reactions, and one young man who made Hollywood forget he wasn’t the King of Pop. Will Smith didn’t plan to react publicly. He was in a private screening in Los Angeles, but someone in the theater recorded him. And within hours, the video had 5 million views. Will Smith later posted, “I’m speechless.

 That’s the only word, speechless.” He didn’t say Jaafar’s name. He didn’t have to. Everyone knew who he meant. That’s power.  When I seen the Michael Jackson movie, that was inspiring.  Yeah, it was very inspiring because it was great storytelling, the cinematics, the acting, the believability, and you know, nephew becoming Mike, and just the performances, and all of that that just was exciting to see.

 It was It was a spark. It put a spark in me.  Snoop Dogg doesn’t praise lightly. He’s seen it all. But when he watched Jaafar Jackson perform, he pulled out his phone and recorded himself. He said Jafar didn’t just sound like Michael, he moved like him, breathed like him. Snoop posted the video with three symbols, fire, crown.

 That’s Snoop language for royalty. And in the streets of Long Beach, a crown from Snoop means more than any award.  First question, you’ve seen the movie clearly. And what’s so just amazing to me is that I forgot I was watching Jafar.

 I actually thought I was watching my brother.  LaToya Jackson is Michael’s sister. She grew up with him. She knows every gesture, every smile, every pain. She admitted she was terrified to watch the biopic, afraid it would hurt too much. But when Jafar appeared on screen, something shifted. She said she forgot she was watching her nephew.

 The last night I watched Michael, the biopic of Michael Jackson, thanks to my friend Viraf, Andre, and Sabbas. What a film.  Anupam Kher has acted in over 500 films. He’s seen greatness. He’s seen failure. He rarely cries in public, but after watching Jaafar, he recorded a video message. His voice cracked.

 His eyes were wet. He called Jaafar outstanding and unbelievable. Then he said the audience cries with the film, not because it’s sad, because it’s real. That’s a man who has spent his life in front of cameras. He knows when he’s watching a performance. And he said Jaafar wasn’t performing.  How did you become a choreographer? You’re not You’re not trained.

 Uh no, I’m not even trained to dance. I used to watch Michael Jackson and and pick up the moves.  So can you moonwalk and do all the Michael  to, yes.  Farah Khan is one of Bollywood’s biggest directors. She’s worked with legends. She knows talent. After watching the biopic, she posted something that ignited a war online.

 Quote, “Give Jaafar Jackson the Oscar.” Critics called her crazy. She responded by calling them morons. She didn’t back down because she saw something they didn’t, a performance that transcended imitation.  You don’t climb trees?  No, I do not.    You missed out.  You don’t want to grow up.  No, I am Peter Pan.
