Woman hears Strange noises since Birth, 37 years later she discovers the Strange Reason

Emma was never exposed to the sound of quiet. From an early age, she heard whooshing noises in her ear both in the morning and at night. The physicians informed her there was no treatment, since they believed it to be tinnitus. Emma eventually saw a doctor after 37 years of suffering and fear, and he explained the odd cause of the sounds. Welcome to the Amazing Truth channel! Most children enjoy running on playgrounds, yelling joyfully, and laughing uncontrollably. But Emma was unable to do any of it because it made the weird sounds she heard worse. Emma always questioned why the children at her school were so gregarious and easygoing. Unlike her, they didn’t appear alarmed and distressed. They wanted the frightful noises to stop, didn’t they? The whooshing sound must have been quite uncomfortable for them. Emma believed that the sizzling sounds were audible to everyone else; she didn’t realize she was alone. She assumed everyone was born this way. Emma made herself sleep a lot since it was the only time she didn’t hear the sound. Social events didn’t appeal to her.

Emma’s mental health started to deteriorate when she turned 14. She got uneasy among others and stayed indoors most of the time. Laura, her mother, attempted to help the girl come out of her shell, despite her belief that it was just her nature. In an attempt to give Emma a taste of the outside world, Laura organized a vacation to Disneyland. Unfortunately, this vacation was the time when their small world fell apart.

The ride was taken on the second day of the trip, and Emma began to tremble as soon as they were finished. When Laura inquired about the situation, Emma only said, “The noise keeps getting worse,” while crying. The whooshing sound became exceedingly loud since the activity had increased her blood flow. They went straight back to the hotel after leaving the park. Once they were in the room, Emma sneaked off.

She approached her mother later that night and remarked, “Didn’t you become frightened when you heard your blood rushing so quickly throughout the ride? I was terrified. Why did God create us in that manner?” Laura’s spoon slipped from her hands the moment Emma uttered this. Pulling her kid close to her, she sat up. “You hear the trickle of blood, baby? What do you mean? I hear no sounds,” Laura remarked. “Yes, there are whooshing noises coming from my ear. Everything that occurs inside my body is audible to me. How about you listen to it, Mom? Are you all right?” the youngster answered. Laura couldn’t speak. Her lips and fingers shook, but she was unable to conceal how terrified she felt.

“How long have you been hearing the noises?” Laura inquired. Emma said that she had heard them when she was a young child. Laura was shocked to learn that her kid was going through this. The fact that Emma had never known quiet broke her heart. What sort of mother did she have? Learning this just now left her feeling conflicted. Emma needed to know, as much as she hated to tell her daughter. Laura put her hands around her daughter and rested her head on her chest. “Pay close attention to what I have to say, baby. Something is wrong. Hearing such noises is unacceptable. However, I assure you that we will find a solution now that I am aware of this.” Emma could not speak. She clutched her mother because she was so terrified. She was shocked that no one else heard the whooshing noises.

“I believe the adage ‘what you don’t know won’t kill you’ to be absolutely accurate. I hated those noises ever since I realized I had a problem, and I was desperate for silence,” Emma remarked. Mother and daughter were unable to sleep that night. Though their heads were full of bravery, they continued to thrash on the bed. Their will to solve the issue was unwavering.

Emma and her mother went to the hospital as soon as they got back from the trip. However, the physicians only stared at Emma as if she were speaking a different language when she described her symptoms to them. “We believe your daughter is experiencing emotional difficulties, ma’am. Are you and her really close? How recently have you experienced a mother-daughter moment? Noises are fictitious. We advise her to see a psychologist,” one physician stated.

Laura was so irritated by the doctor’s remarks that she nearly struck the table. They bounded out of the office. When she took Emma’s hand, Laura felt certain that her daughter’s mental health was okay. She decided to keep looking for a solution until someone else thought the noises were genuine too. They could never have predicted the seriousness of the issue at this time. They both thought the answer was near.

Unfortunately, they would not discover the remedy for decades. But before that, what would happen to Emma? Would it already be too late? There was no remedy for Emma’s tinnitus according to the physicians at the various hospitals where she and her mother went. Others said that her ears were clogged, while the others gave her ineffective prescriptions for medications and ear drops. Emma and her mother searched for a solution for the following 20 years but were unable to find one.

Emma lost hope when she turned 33. She made the decision to accept her situation and stopped searching for a solution. In addition, she married her longtime partner with whom she had a son. Emma worked remotely as a data analyst, so she had ample time to take care of her child. Despite her health problems, regretfully, things would soon worsen for her.

Emma went to get her toddler from school one day. The child was put in the rear seat by her. A harsh ringing in her head interrupted her as she was ready to go into the driver’s seat. She lost her balance and collapsed to the floor. Fortunately, she was unharmed. She was assisted up by a few of the moms who had also arrived to pick up their children. Then, one of them approached her and requested a minute. Despite her continued embarrassment about the prior incident, Emma complied with the woman’s request.

Despite Emma’s reluctance, she opened up to the stranger when she was questioned about her illness. Then the woman reached inside her bag, produced a contact card, and handed it to Emma. “He is an excellent physician. I hope you are able to remedy this,” with a genuine grin, the woman responded. “Good luck,” and turned to go. Emma threw the card in her bag and drove away without even looking at it. No one, she thought, could save her. What an expensive move.

Emma’s health deteriorated during the course of the weeks. She was dizzy from her son’s crying and had to avoid him all the time. Emma got despondent as a result, and her productivity decreased. She was so annoyed by the sounds and lightheadedness one morning that she hurried to her luggage, grabbed the card, and called the doctor. In reality, Emma secretly wished for everything to stop and for her kid to have a mother who was normal and healthy.

Emma made an appointment with the doctor for the next week, and on that day, she entered his office with sorrowful eyes and a heavy heart. Emma told the doctor what she had experienced while she was seated in front of him. When the doctor claimed he understood her situation, she was astonished. Additionally, he informed Emma that he was certain of her illness, but that further testing was necessary. Did this indicate that she was about to win? Emma wondered whether she was anxious.

The physician performed various scans on her and collected blood samples. The doctor came back to the office an hour later, beaming broadly. “Emma has bilateral Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence,” he informed her. Her hearing and balance were impacted since she was missing a portion of the temporal bone in her ear canals. Emma immediately started crying, even though she didn’t know whether there was a way to stop it. She was shocked to learn that her illness had a name all along.

After that, the doctor informed her that she would need surgery but that she may permanently lose her hearing. The moment the doctor mentioned it, Emma’s heart began to speed. Although it meant she may lose everything, she felt as though she had gotten very close to pursuing the independence she so much desired. Emma, however, was willing to take the chance. She made the decision to get the operation, as she was done hiding.

Emma was taken into the operating room on the appointed day, and the 6-hour procedure went well. When she opened her eyes, she saw that her left ear was not making any whoosh noise. The heart rate monitor was the only sound she could hear. Emma gasped, “Oh my God. Silence at last,” as tears of ecstasy streamed down her face.

Emma had the second operation a few months later, and everything went well too. Emma suffered greatly during the recuperation period, but she persevered because she knew success was on the horizon. She quickly healed completely, and she doesn’t hear any odd sounds anymore. She occasionally walks in solitary, peaceful places just to take in the lovely sound of solitude.
