I found a small, shivering creature under a car on the side of the road; it was an abandoned puppy. There was helplessness and fear in his crying, and this single moan made my heart ache deeply. It was clear that the puppy had witnessed something terrible and was very sensitive to our approach. Every time I tried to approach him, he screamed in fear, crawling desperately under the car, even barking at us. His
eyes were full of fear, and he didn’t know what he had been through. Faced with his helpless and frightened gaze, I couldn’t help feeling pity for such a young life that should have been in a warm home, being looked after and enjoying a carefree life. Yet now he
could only survive by taking shelter under a car on the side of the road. This makes my heart ache. Who is so cruel as to give up such a small life here? What on earth did he go through to have such a deep fear of humans? I stroked him gently, hoping to make him relax his guard; however, he became even more nervous and trembled.
Left on the side of the road, how can he survive? I understand how much his soul has been hurt, how much he longs for rest, but he is afraid of being hurt again. Looking at his frightened gaze, I couldn’t help but feel a pang in my heart. At such a young age, what kind of difficulties did he go through to become so afraid of humans? I couldn’t help
but swear a secret in my heart that I must make him feel the warmth of the world again, calming him gently and trying to make him feel my kindness. I know it takes time for him to trust me slowly. Perhaps only in a small, dark place can he find a sense of security.
After a while, he calmed down a little, but he was still tightly curled up, and his whole small body was as stiff as stone. It’s okay, we’ll take good care of you in the future. Come home with me, everything will be alright. His weak heart didn’t know how much of a blow he had suffered; he was very scared.
Our comfort has been avoided. It is truly heartbreaking to see how cautious he is. No matter how difficult the road ahead may be, I will definitely take care of him. I will not allow him to be hurt even a little. I want him to regain his self-confidence. After I took him home, I immediately arranged a warm nest for him and prepared food and water for him. The
unfamiliar environment made him wary of everything around him. I could only stay with him patiently, comfort him gently, and let him slowly give up his wariness. Don’t be afraid, this will be your home from now on. Don’t worry, I will tell you about the beauty of this world again. Since then, this abandoned puppy has become an indispensable part of my life.
