to low temperatures the sight that greeted them was shocking in the middle of the living room stood a large wooden crate covered with an old long blanket a black liquid was seeping out from the crate’s cracks onto the floor the room was saturated with the smell of perfume and air freshener yet it failed to mask the overwhelming stench the air inside was nauseating upon closer inspection the police realized that the wooden crate in the living room was the same one seen on the security footage one officer pulled back the
blanket covering the crate inside was a solid concrete block sprinkled with mothballs the police immediately brought in specialized equipment first they dis mantled the wooden crate revealing the concrete block inside the block measured approximately 3 ft by 3 ft and 1.6 ft in height resembling a concrete coffin the fire department then used specialized tools to cut through the concrete block meanwhile the police continued searching the apartment at the scene they found several paper documents upon inspection they discovered that these
documents contained information about an international crime organization called there this organization had numerous members operating worldwide and ABI was one of its leaders aay Aha and shiaa were also members of this organization the their organization was involved in various illegal activities including drug trafficking document forgery and murder the police found a list of individuals they planned to eliminate and jang’s name was on that list after more than 5 hours of effort at around around 1:00 a.m. the fire

chloroform poisoning but did not rule out the possibility of Suffocation due to strangulation as the time of death coincided with Jang juley’s disappearance the police contacted his girlfriend guo upon arriving at the scene guo recognized the victim as Jang based on the clothes he was wearing on the day day he went missing DNA testing later confirmed that the victim was indeed Jang the police had now identified the four main suspects after fleeing to Taiwan ABI and his accomplices seemed to vanish without a trace the case hit a dead end the media
quickly reported on the incident drawing significant public attention some people managed to uncover damaging information about the suspect Xiao Chow people reported that Xiao Chow led a promiscuous lifestyle frequently visiting nightlife spots with various men amid the public chatter a surprising piece of news emerged from Taiwan at 7:40 p.m.
on April 10th 2016 shiaa and her boyfriend aan turned themselves in at a police station in New Taipei City Taiwan xiaoa told the police that she had witnessed the entire process of Abby killing Jang in Hong Kong a year earlier xiaoa had worked as a waitress at a Japanese themed made Cafe in Hong Kong Abby was a regular customer there and after a few encounters the two became acquainted initially Xiao chcha thought ABI was a wealthy man because he was always generous never caring about prices however after a while ABI started eating meals without paying and would
even sneak into the kitchen to steal food eventually the restaurant owner kicked ABI out and warned him not to return although ABI no longer came to the cafe shiaa continued to stay in touch with him she believed Abby could help her make a lot of money because of her relationship with ABI shiaa had a huge argument with her boyfriend Asian in a fit of anger she left home when Abi learned of this he immediately invited xiaoa to live with him in his apartment in too Harbor promising he would help her make good money trusting Abby xia
Chow moved in with him however she hadn’t expected that so many of ab’s friends would also be living there unint Al xiaa became involved with the their organization shiaa took over Tao’s position tasked with recording the content of the meetings Obby promised her a monthly salary of $8,000 Hong Kong dollars with room and board included Obby provided everything accommodation and three meals a day during each meeting they would discuss who they plann to kill but they had never actually gone through with it because of this xiaoa never took these
meetings seriously she would just record the discussions mechanically as requested but this time they followed through and killed Jang as planned then pressured xaa to flee with them initially xiaa didn’t want to leave because she believed she hadn’t participated in the crime however Abby called and threatened her saying that if she didn’t go with them he would put all the blame on her shaow feeling helpless and vulnerable reluctantly agreed as soon as they arrived in Taiwan ABI confiscated her past passport
another identification they initially used fake IDs to rent a room at a hot spring Hotel they also altered their tattoos to avoid recognition the group changed their hair colors altered their clothing and tried to disguise themselves to evade the police they then moved to another hotel in Taipei however ABI felt that staying in the city center was too risky so they relocated to yet another hotel after several moves they were nearly out of money to cut cost Abby rented a cheaper room in new Taipei City based on a
friend’s recommendation with no income the group struggled to survive in a cramped room eating only instant noodles each day one day xiaa overheard ABI and the others Whispering about something listening closely she was horrified to realize they were planning to sell her to human traffickers for money terrified shaow seized the opportunity to secretly call her boyfriend aan in Hong Kong for help when AB and his accompli weren’t paying attention upon hearing her story aan was extremely worried but urged her to stay
calm and avoid drawing attention he immediately booked a flight from Hong Kong to Taiwan to rescue her while ABI and his accomplice were asleep xiaa slipped out to meet Ashan and together they went to the police station to report the situation once they understood the circumstances the new Taipei police contacted Hong Kong authorities on April 11th shiaa and Ashan were deported back to Hong Kong the Hong Kong police arrested shiaa on charges of being an accomplice to murder based on her statements the police were able to
locate the three remaining suspects however since the three men had not committed any crimes on Taiwanese soil the Taiwanese authorities could only arrest them once their visas expired on the morning of April 12th new taipe police raided the room where OB group was staying all three were arrested on charges of endangering Public Safety in the room the police found numerous books on criminal psychology all belonging to ABI he carried these books with him wherever he went suggesting his deep understanding of how to manipulate others
psychologically that evening all three suspects were deported to Hong Kong during police questioning they began blaming each other offering conflicting stories the police first interrogated ABI who claimed that aha was The Mastermind and that he was forced into the situation ABI stated that a few days before the incident aha had expressed a desire to Rob wealthy people during one of their conversations jong’s wealth had come up aha then devised a plan to Target Jong and convinced ABI to join promising him a cut of the proceeds once the plan was
executed ABI confessed that he initially had no intention of going through with the plan but aha was persistent constantly trying to convince him reflecting on his past business dealings with Jang which had resulted in significant losses ABI felt a surge of resentment in a moment of emotional weakness he agreed to aha’s proposal however Abby insisted he never intended to kill Jang he just wanted to teach him a lesson and make some extra money aha then persuaded aay to join the plan at first they intended to lure Jang to a
bar and Drug him there but aha decided that attacking in a bar would be too risky instead they ultimately chose to use their apartment as the crime scene aha directed ABI and aay to go out and buy ropes duct tape chloroform alcohol and other supplies for the attack after they returned aha even poured chloroform onto a cloth and forced ABI and aay to inhale it to test its effects on the day of the incident ABI called Jang to lure him to the apartment he thought aha wouldn’t actually go through with it perhaps just scare Jang a little
so he went upstairs to lie down next to xiaoa not long after ABI heard sounds of a struggle from downstairs he rushed down to find Aha aay and Jang in a scuffle aha used the chloroform soaked cloth to cover jang’s mouth and nose while aay held down jang’s legs although Jang tried to fight back he was quickly overpowered and forced to the floor aha ordered ABI to inject alcohol into Jang according to ABI he was terrified and unsure of what to do but aha continued to pressure him with aggressive threats under duress Abby
took the syringe and injected jang’s leg a short time later Jang lost Consciousness at this point they realized things had gone too far aay tried performing CPR on John but it was useless afterward aha searched Jang and took all his belongings seeing aha’s brutality ABI became extremely frightened and suggested going to the police to confess however both Aha and aay firmly opposed this idea and threatened to kill him if he reported them aha even bragged about having a contact within the police as a result ABI didn’t dare act on his own
and reluctantly went along helping Aha and aay move jang’s body into the bathroom the group discussed how to dispose of the body aha suggested dismembering it but ABI thought this was too gruesome and strongly opposed the idea ultimately they decided to encase jang’s body in a concrete block disguised as a flower planter which they would then dispose of the next day a how had to leave for Singapore to participate in a street Dance Competition so the task of encasing the body in concrete was left to ABI and aay
after purchasing the cement they began working on the plan however when they tried to move the concrete block to the elevator door they realized it was too large and wouldn’t fit both were puzzled about what to do next 3 Days Later aha returned from Singapore when he saw that the concrete block was still there he became Furious the group attempted once again to get the concrete block into the elevator but failed aha then ordered ABI and aay to buy a drill in suitcases planning to break the block apart they intended to
smash the concrete into smaller pieces and put them into suitcases for disposal however they underestimated the hardness of the concrete block ordinary tools couldn’t penetrate it as time passed the stench from the concrete began to spread realizing that they could no longer hide the situation aha decided to flee before leaving he called Xiao chow and threatened her to join them ABI told the police that after arriving in Taiwan he had tried to turn himself in several times but xiaoa acted before he could he insisted that chiaa
had no involvement in the crime but aha was adamant about bringing her to Taiwan when questioned about the organization there ABI claimed that it didn’t actually exist he wasn’t a leader of any organization they only had a chat group on social media which was named there next the police questioned aha whose testimony was entirely different from ab’s aha explained that he had been passionate about dancing since childhood he had participated in several shows such as Asian wave and million star hoping to become a professional dancer
however he hadn’t found his big break until he met Abi Abi had promised to invest in Aha and help him become famous and aha believed him in 2015 aha moved into the apartment where the crime took place ABI assured aha that he could focus solely on Dance while he handled everything else at first aha thought he had found a benefactor But as time went on he realized that ABI was just a con artist without the money he claimed to have ABI even convinced aha to take out a 50,000 Hong Kong dollar bank loan for investment in the end ABI gave him only
$2,000 Hong Kong dollars keeping the rest for himself later on aha also joined the so-called organization there aha testified that the plan to kill Jang wanle was proposed by ABI according to Aha ABI said that Jang was wealthy and had an unlimited credit card with that card they’d never have to worry about money again allowing aha to fully pursue his dream of becoming a Dan however by that time aha had seen through ab’s deceit and wasn’t swayed by his offers aha testified that in the early morning of the crime he was sleeping in
the downstairs bedroom when Abi woke him up handing him a cloth soaked in chloroform and asking him to sniff it still drowsy aha complied and quickly fell back asleep later around noon aha was startled awake by loud arguing outside stepping out he discovered that ABI had invited Jang to the apartment at that moment Jang and aay were struggling with each other aha wanted to intervene but by then ABI and aay had already restrained Jang forcing him to the floor aay covered jang’s mouth and nose with the chloroform soaked cloth while
ABI injected jang’s leg with a syringe a few moments later Jang lost Consciousness ABI then searched Jang and took all his possessions suggesting that they encase the body in concrete for disposal which they all agreed to Aha continued stating that he left for Singapore the next day for a dance competition when he returned the concrete block had already been cast but it was too big to fit in the elevator realizing they were stuck they decided to flee ABI then called shaoa threatening her to join them in leaving Hong Kong next police questioned
aay who revealed that he grew up with his mother after his parents divorce his greatest ambition was to give his parents a comfortable life aay had once aspired to be a police officer but after failing the entrance exam had settled for a menial job with the subway company aay met ABI at a Halloween party in Lanai Fong and quickly became captivated by him deciding to follow him he soon learned that ABI was connected to a powerful secret organization which made him trust ABI even more as someone who could change his life to gain entry into
this organization agay followed every instruction from ABI who filled his head with twisted ideas this ultimately led aay to move into ab’s apartment and officially join the group aay recounted an experience where he and ABI along with aha were on a work trip while at the hotel ABI suddenly became serious explaining that the organization had given him a secret assignment requiring an urgent online meeting he strictly prohibited anyone from entering his room during the meeting stating that they would face severe
consequences only ABI was allowed in while ah house stood guard at the door to prevent anyone from approaching witnessing this A’s belief in the organization’s existence deepened and he placed complete trust in ABI aay told the police that he had no prior knowledge of jang’s murder on the day of the incident as per ob’s instructions he was in the downstairs bedroom studying the organization’s materials when he heard a commotion in the living room rushing out to see what was happening he saw aha standing behind Jang covering
his mouth and nose with a cloth although Jang struggled he was no match for Aha and was swiftly overpowered collapsing onto the floor at that point Abby approached and injected something into jang’s leg witnessing the entire event aay was so terrified that his hands and legs began to shake fearing that a murder had just occurred he hurried over to try and perform CPR on Jang but it was too late to save him unsure of what to do and scared of being discovered by the police agay followed ABI and aha’s lead in disposing of the body afterward
aay fled to Taiwan with ABI and the others during their escape aay lived in constant fear worried that the police would catch up to him moreover ABI persistently tried to persuade him to turn himself in promising to take care of his mother in exchange for a full confession when the interrogation concluded despite inconsistencies in their testimonies the police were able to confirm that the so-called International crime organization did not actually exist it was all a fabrication by ABI to deceive others all three
suspects claimed that shaow was not involved in the crime which made her testimony crucial shaow became the prosecution’s key witness and had to appear in court to confront the three defendants and recount the entire event if she lied or concealed the truth the prosecution warned she would be prosecuted xiaa accepted these terms and agreed to provide an honest account of everything she knew the police took the suspects to reconstruct the crime scene at Dan 6 where the murder occurred and to the hardware store where they bought
the tools used in the crime due to the high public interest in the case reporters and curious onlookers crowded both sides of the street 3 years after the murder the trial began at the Hong Kong High Court the defendants ABI aay and aha were charged with murder shiao cha as the key witness was present to testify shiaa detailed the entire ordeal at the time of the incident she lived with the three defendants in the apartment where the murder took place every few days ABI would gather everyone for a meeting the discussions always
revolved around criminal activities ABI claimed to be the organization’s leader and was responsible for the members lodging and living expenses aay and aha’s primary roles involved menial tasks while shiaa managed the office work although she was the only woman in the group shiaa had never had any romantic relationships with any of the men including ABI she considered them just friends xiaa explained that while their discussion sounded serious it was all talk and none of it had ever been acted upon until the day they discussed the
plan to kill Jang ABI claimed that the murder was an assignment from higher ups and that they would receive a reward of 30 million Hong Kong dollar if they completed it shouta testified that Aha and aay fully believed ABI and expressed eagerness to participate she thought ABI was lying as usual so she jokingly said that if they succeeded they should give her a share ABI and aay then brought home the tools needed for the crime ABI soaked a cloth with chloroform and had everyone smell it he also soaked a piece
of underwear in chloroform and stored it in the downstairs bathroom as a backup around 9:00 a.m. on the day of the crime shaow returned to the apartment and found the three men huddled around a computer looking at Maps curious she asked what they were doing they replied that they were scouting locations to dispose of the body and asked xiaoa if she knew of a discreet place since xiaa had planned a trip to lantau island with her boyfriend aen the next day she casually mentioned lantau Island around noon Xiao Chow was
upstairs taking a nap when she heard an argument downstairs she was about to go down to see what was happening when Abby rushed up hid alcohol and a syringe in the closet and warned her not to go downstairs saying that she would see things she shouldn’t shaow complied shortly after she heard a scream from downstairs shaow knew then that Jang had actually been killed terrified she stayed upstairs but after a while curiosity got the better of her and she peaked down however she saw no sign of Jang by that time ABI and
the others had already moved Jang into the bathroom Abby told Xiao Chow that she should avoid returning to the apartment for the next few days because they would be handling jang’s body and he didn’t want her to be frightened by what she might see xiaoa then left and went to stay with her boyfriend asan without knowing what happened next 6 days later ABI called xiaoa and told her to flee to Taiwan with them at first she refused but ABI threatened to pin all the blame on her if she didn’t go left with no other option shiao Chow
reluctantly agreed to go along with him after a lengthy trial the court reached a consensus the court declared that the defendant ABI whose real name is Zang xang Shin was guilty of murder and sentenced him to life in prison the two other defendants aay real name Jang Shan Hing and AA named Leu jiha were acquitted of murder but found guilty of manslaughter and were each sentenced to 17 years in prison due to her cooperation and honest testimony the prosecution decided not to pursue criminal charges against the
witness who lingu also known as xiaoa with this the case came to a close jang’s family and his fiance M guo had closely followed the trial upon hearing the Court’s verdict they could not hold back back their tears shao’s boyfriend asan was also present at the trial afterward Ashan gave an interview to reporters affirming his complete trust in his girlfriend he stated that she is a good person and that the rumors circulating online are false notably after the incident a video of jang’s final phone call with his father
